Target First Fridays @ Museum
Jersey City Museum invites you to celebrate a brand new season of exhibitions! The evening will also include wine, refreshments, exhibition-themed family projects in the atrium, and a special performance by Jersey City's own Segunda Quimbamba in the museum's theater at 6:30 p.m.
New Spring 2010 Exhibitions include:
* Hair Tactics - Over 30 artists explore HAIR as subject matter and medium
* Hugo Bastidas: Earthly Delights
* John Ross and Clare Romano: A Life in Prints
* 1x1 Projects: Jennifer Maza, Louis Libitz
* Also on view: New Look, Same Great Taste!
This event is free and open to the public. Tickets will be sold for the special 6:30 p.m. performance in the theater.
Segunda Quimbamba Performance | 6:30 p.m.
General admission: $7 | JCM members: $5
This Jersey City based percussion and dance ensemble will celebrate the rich folk music of Puerto Rico with a performace in the museum's Caroline L. Guarini Theater. Kids under twelve free! Tickets will be available at the door.
