Music by DAVIDSON OSPINA & OSCAR P

DAVIDSON OSPINA ( Ospina Digital )
Davidson Ospina. This is what you need to know about the NYC artist, remixer, DJ, and owner of Ospina Digital records, a leading label heavily influencing the current House music scene.
He started out just like any other kid from Queens in the early 80’s, with an intense love of music. ‘My neighborhood exposed me to a wide variety of music. But, I was really inspired by the NYC break-dancing scene. The music at that time was so exciting and made you want to move. I felt the need to contribute to that’. He followed up on that ‘need to contribute’ and by his early teens he was not only producing his own songs, he was remixing other artist’s tracks.

The momentum of his influence in the Underground did not go unnoticed. It broke through up to the Overground. Popular artists, who wanted to be heard in the clubs, began to come to him. The roster of Popular artists wanting his touch is impressive, with Ospina reworking Britney Spears (more than once), Backstreet Boys, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Mark Anthony, and, well, you get the idea.

OSCAR P ( Open Bar Music )
Oscar's diverse DJ sets have been featured on the Roger Sanchez show “Release Yourself” and the Paul Van Dyk “VONYC Sessions” this year, and his career highlights include projects like Extortion's "How Do You See Me Now" (Junior Boys Own/Polygram), and Swing 52's hit "Colour of Skin" f/ Arnold Jarvis later licensed by Pete Tong's FFRR label. He's remixed tracks for Beyonce, 2 Unlimited, John Legend, Sabrina Johnston, Peech Boys, Physics, Sasha Alazy, Alix Alvarez, and Silvano Da Silva.

Traveling the world Oscar P has played at some of the most respected club venues in the world building an impressive resume of dj dates in London, Dubai, Italy, Singapore, Puerto Rico, Chicago, Miami, Amsterdam, France, Poland, as well as New York City, and Philadelphia where he plays regulary at Sundae, Aqua-Booty, and Water Taxi Beach. His style remains to this day deep and soulful house meets Ibiza excess. His fusion of sounds is quite apparent on his syndicated podcast Open Bar Radio which can be found on Itunes with over 30,000 loyal listeners weekly and growing.

American Tribal Style Belly Dance by KARA & NAJA of TRIBE HAMSA

KARA
Kara joined the NYC tribal dance community in 2005, inspired by the beautiful dancing and drum circles she experienced at SCA events. She began studying tribal fusion, and became a member of the Alchemy Tribal Collective, directed by Sarah Johannson Locke of Alchemy Performance Theater a former member of Gypsy Caravan. Kara performed with the collective at Rakkasah Spring Caravan, 2008. The following year, she began studying with Mimi Fontana, director of Manhattan Tribal, NYC's first ATS troupe and Fat Chance Sister Studio. Kara is excited to be a core member of Tribe Hamsa. Her favorite aspect of ATS is the spontaneity and improvisation of the dance, its joyousness, and the sisterhood that group dance offers.

NAJA
Born in Brooklyn, now on Staten Island, NY, Naja (Maria Richardson) has been belly dancing since 2002. She has studied under Mariyah of Brooklyn, NY, and from 2004 -2006, was a member of the Alchemy Tribal Collective directed by Sarah Johansson Locke, formerly of Gypsy Caravan of Oregon. Since 2006, she has been a core member of Manhattan Tribal, directed by Mimi Fontana, NYC’s first and only American Tribal Style belly dance troupe and Fat Chance Sister Studio. In 2009, Naja created and is director of Tribe Hamsa, Staten Island's first ATS belly dance troupe and Fat Chance Sister Studio. Naja has performed at LeSouk, NY; Lafayette Grill, NYC; Jebon, NYC; Dance Parade 2007 - 2009, Rakkasah Spring Caravn 2007 – 2010, the northeast’s largest Middle Eastern festival; and many other venues throughout the tri-state area. In January, 2010, she traveled to Paris to perform with Manhattan Tribal at Festival Bellyfusions. She is Certified, General Skills (2009) and Teacher Training (2010), by Fat Chance Belly Dance of San Francisco. KID'S BAZAAR by UMPA LUMPA

UMPA LUMPA founded by Laura Dejean in 2009. After many years of varying (more negative than positive) experiences with clowns and kid's entertainment at her daughter's Birthday Parties.
Laura came to the conclusion that she could add more quality,
love and enthusiasm to the world of children's entertainment.

It starts with making every single child's smile count, reviving old school party games and ends with transforming parties and events into healthy and eco-conscious happenings, without toxic food and cakes, junk party favors and much less garbage. We are trying to bring imagination and phantastic memories back into your kid's special days.

Her experience includes many years of teaching Self-Defense
(with fun) to children as young as 4 which Laura will do again soon in Jersey City. She is also currently teaching a musical enrichment program in Jersey City Public Schools through Cohen Arts and Education. http://cohenartsed.com/index3.html
Umpa Lumpa can offer parties in Spanish and German!
