CLOTHING SWAP with Melissa Lockwood, Iqtest clothing
A workshop that begins with participants bringing garments they no longer want.
The group collectively places all their unwanted garments in a pile at the beginning of the workshop.
Then the participants pick things they like out from the pile, these are the items we will discuss transforming.
Melissa will show some examples of how to reuse a variety of garments, making them into fun new items
and show how to do a few transforms.

Jersey City to Host Korean Art Group Exhibition At City Hall’s Meagher Rotunda Gallery
Opening Reception to be Held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013
JERSEY CITY – Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy, the Jersey City Municipal Council, the Department of Health and Human Services/Division of Cultural Affairs are hosting The Korean Artists Group Exhibition during the month of April. The exhibition’s opening reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at City Hall, 280 Grove Street.
The show is designed to highlight an eclectic mix of more than 30 established and emerging local Korean Artists, including Hak Kyun Kim, Mi Jung Kim, Haneui Kim, Hyatt Kim, Seunghwui Koo, Won Cheol Lee, along with 36 other artists from New York and New Jersey. Among the participants, Garam Lee, an installation artist, will be exhibiting his ongoing project ‘Sound of Breathing’, as well as Jun Ku Kang, a media artist, will be showing ‘Breeze Blossom’ which depicts his complex inner image through computer generated art.
The exhibition, organized by City Hall Curator Greg Brickey, will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, beginning Monday April 9, 2013 to Monday, April 30, 2013.
The reception is free and open to the public, and is handicap accessible. Light refreshments will be served.
