Powerhouse Art District Neighborhood Association (PADNA)

monthly meeting and board elections
Warehouse cafe, 140 Bay Street, tue nov 9, 7.30 pm
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for participating in the development and growth of PADNA during the last few years. Your support has helped with successful events such as the Summer BBQ and Street Fair, holiday vendor fairs, various art events, neighborhood clean-ups, as well as pressing for city accountability in Quality of Life issues, zoning laws, and other community initiatives. We truly could not have accomplished what we have without your dedication and help.

To that end, PADNA will be conducting board elections at our next meeting on Tuesday, November 9th, 7:30pm at the Warehouse Cafe. While current and past board members have dedicated their time to the growth of PADNA, we need YOUR support to continue the growth and development of our organization. So, if you are interested in having a leadership position and directly effecting the development of our young but growing community, we would strongly encourage you to let us know and attend the next general meeting on November 9th.

The sacred and the mundane, Ken Bastard, oening

at LITM,
Nov 2- ?  2010
This  exhibit examines the most simple aspects of everyday life. Paying bills,
washing dishes, going to work as a reaction to the overload of iconic imagery
that abounds in the current art scene.

Just Life at its most Sacred and Mundane.

Ken Bastard masters a very raw, special way to capture life with ink.
