Join us for a day-long creative summit as we come together as artists, neighbors, business owners and friends to envision the future of Jersey City's newest arts district. Bring your thoughts and wish-list of what your ideal arts district looks like. All are welcome. Please RSVP for this summit by going to this link http://bit.ly/PO03yt
Our goal is 70 to 100 attendees, so space is limited. We need a head count to help manage: seating, food and beverages and plan the day's flow based on who's in the room.
The conversation will be led by Robyn Stratton-Berkessel of Positive Inquiry. We will be using appreciative inquiry and World Cafe-style methodology to help us all co-create a vision. Learn more about it here: http://centerforappreciativeinquiry.net/ or http://www.theworldcafe.com/method.html
There is a compounding effect of building on the collective knowledge and aspirations. Curiosity is good and commitment to the task is better. We are hoping to make every hour count, so we hope you can stay for the whole day. (If you really can't we'll try not to take it personal.)
Hosted by Washington Park Association of Hudson County, Inc, Riverview Neighborhood Association (RNA), Farms in the Heights, and Heights Community Coalition.
Co-sponsored by The City of Jersey City, WPA, RNA, FITH, Hudson City Development, Lee Levine, Nick Caballero Ideas for Living and Palisade Lumber.
