Jersey City Dodgeball Scrimmage
Learning Community Charter School Gym (2495 Kennedy Boulevard): Saturday February 27th Noon to 8 pm |
Dodgeball
Just like smoking and drinking, this once harmless recreational past time has been banned in most school systems for promoting anti-social behavior in our nations youth. And although no legislation has been drafted to make dodgeball illegal or enforce a mandatory minimum age from playing, the Surgeon General is considering labeling all dodgeballs with the warning similar to cigarettes. How does " Dodgeball causes cancer" sound ?
As mature adults, though, the state allows us to engage in risky behavior.
And so I bring you : The Jersey City Dodgeball Death Match , a benefit for the Learning Community Charter School. Really it's just a scrimmage, and I'll have you sign a "I don't have a heart condition" waiver.
Here's what you need to know :

John Moore photography, saffron luxury bldg
Billy John Moore's work is captivating and one of a kind. His talents to capture places and things that are largely unseen is what sets his work aside from others. His photographs are mysterious and propel us into a dreamlike state. As a born and raised Jersey City native it is no surprise that the majority of his work reflects the very city he is from.
Openings: Thursday Feb 18th from 6-9pm & Friday Feb 19th from 6-9pm
