alternative, clear green art community tree is up

The downtown community has a progressive tree alternative for this holiday season.
Our tree of life has found shape with a wooden skeleton structure,
the imaginative body being shaped with clear plastic bottles.
Your photo opportunities downtown JC..!

The tree was built by Uta Brauser and Laura Dejean, the skirting painted by Laura.
(the image above is the tree not completed on its way to the plaza).
(the detail of painting on tree skirt)
With the help of a few bottle donors and Leo Sanchez with hours of drilling and fastening the bottles,
we have this art sculpture standing proudly at the PATH plaza till the end of the year.
Paid for by
Arts in Action and the builders, Uta, Laura, Leo.
