Artist Lecture at Jersey City Art School

Thursday, January 28, 2010
8:00pm - 9:30pm
326 5th Street

Thomas Carlson, founder of the Jersey City Art School, has opened it's doors to the ladies of Spitfyre Productions and Paul Vincent Gallery , to bring you a meet and greet with upcoming artist, John Selburg.

With an ever growing need to support one another's attempts within the arts, as well as open our eyes and minds to fresh faces outside of our neighborhood art scene, Spitfyre, JCAS, and PVS are inviting you to join us for an intimate gathering with Selburg.

There will be a scheduled talk at 8:00pm, followed by Q and A, and of course a little wine.

Spitfyre and JCAS would like to invite you to join us afterwards at Port-o Lounge to continue to show Selburg how wonderful the support of the Jersey City art scene is.

Green Teen Music and Art Festival

Friday February 5th at Grace Church Van Vorst, the students of McNair Academic High School will involve teenagers from all around the country to raise money and awareness for the environment. Local teenage artists will be able to exhibit and sell their eco-friendly inspired art in a curated show, while teen musicians will get an opportunity to showcase their talents as well.

Thus far, student from McNair, St. Peter's Prep, St. Dominic Academy, Jersey City Arts High School, Ferris, and County Prep will participate in the activities.

Contributions raised during the festival will go towards American Forest to help plant tress. Each dollar raised plants one tree. We've already started collecting numerous sponsors that will help make the event possible
