& the 2012 Point-In-Time Count (PIT)
Last-Minute Logistical Details:
PHC Setup and Event Location: Bergenview, 654 Bergen Avenue, between Fairview and Jewett Avenues
Requested Volunteer Arrival Times:
>> Setup on Tuesday: 12 Noon
>> PHC on Wednesday: 8:30AM/8:45AM
The PHC event on Wednesday is open to Guests from 9:30am-1:30pm.
The PHC location, Bergenview, is easily accessible by public transportation (email for more info.)
There is very limited on-site parking (enter from Fairview Ave.)
Street Count Meet-Up Location is 118 Summit Avenue, at Gardner Ave., (between Jewett & Belmont Avenues)
Street Count Arrival Request is 7:30PM at 118 Summit
Please dress very casually and very comfortably for all of these activities, and warmly for the night tme Street Count.
Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a one-day, one-stop event on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, to serve Homeless individuals and families, providing warm outerwear, thermals, socks, breakfast, hot lunch, information and referrals for vital services, hygiene kits, medical screening, HIV screening, haircuts, and more. It is organized by the Hudson County Alliance to End Homelessness (HCAEH), a collaboration between local government, non-profits and the business sector, and takes place in coordination with the County's annual Point in Time (PIT) Count of the Homeless. Volunteer participation is essential to making PHC a success!
