Marc is THE man of Van Vorst Park...You have a question about the dog run, about  sprinkler fun, parties in the Gazebo, the Farmers Market, the flea Market...he knows it ALL. Come hear his ideas for the upcoming summer season and whats already on the calendar for fun in Van Vorst Park. We will also take movie suggestions for this summer's Films in Van Vorst 2011.

Saturday April 23 11am Van Vorst Park Egg Hunt
Walkers up to age 8...try your luck at finding 1of 2 golden eggs!  Bring a basket for your egg loot and stick around for entertainment starting at noon.  Music, balloons, face painting and more!! RSVP marcwesson2@aol.com.

Saturday April 23 11am-3pm Walking Tour with the
Embankment Preservation
$25 or $20 in advance  --Walking tour of the High Line and Water Line in New York.  RSVP to info@embankment.org....and include your name and cell phone or home phone number.                                              
Tuesday April 26  2011 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm The East District Captain's Meeting is scheduled for the M.S.4 (Bright and Varick St.).Captain Connors, East District Commander, will discuss crime in the East District and respond to all questions, issues and concerns. The Captain's Meeting is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
