ABOUT THE WORKS:
The artworks submitted for this show represent each artist's testimony of urban life. Urban life and culture is diverse and often misrepresented in the media and other sources. This show is an opportunity for these emerging artists to tell you visually through their works how they experience life growing up or living in the inner-city.

The participating artists have been a constant supporter of CUDA Culture and its mission over the years. If you or someone you know would like to contribute/donate an artwork for CUDA’s mission, please contact us at info@cudaculture.org (subject: CUDA artists). *Due to limited availability of space in the current exhibit, some works shown in the previous art show may not be included. CUDA Culture’s online gallery is currently under construction; coming soon.

CUDA PROGRAMS/WORKSHOPS: Deejaying, B-Boying/B-Girling, Emceeing, Mural Art -- CUDA programs aim to offer young people of various learning styles an artistic and creative platform for critical thinking, visual, verbal and written literacy, physical fitness and auditory skills which greatly reinforce and supplement academic learning, while instilling appreciation for diversity and social responsibility through community service. CUDA members strongly believe in the power of creative self-expression as catalysts for change, and that change must start from within. When we nurture our young people's talent and desire to reach their highest potential, we are cultivating a fertile ground for positive change in our society.
