Loews Landmark theater wine tasting fundraiser

For the second year in a row, Friends of the Loew's is partnering with another of Jersey City's leading civic groups, the Washington Park Association, to hold our joint Wine Tasting & Food Pairing Fundraiser.

For FOL, the money raised will help continue the great success we had with STAGEfest by funding the second annual festival in 2014.  For the WPA, the money raised will help match a grant they received for the WP LIVE! Art & Music in the Park event in September. 

 

Featured entertainment is Petit Cubanoson, along with special guest surprises. 

 

We will also be honoring John Gomez, noted local preservationist & historian.

 

The wine will be provided by Hoboken Vine and Hudson Vine, food pairings created in partnership with Chef Mory Thomas of the Food Network and NJCU Gourmet Dining's Chef Anthony Cinelli

LCCS Spring Gala

The Gala is a benefit fundraiser for Learning Community Charter School on April 29, 2011 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Beacon, Great room.   There will be a wine tasting, live jazz, fine food, luxury raffles and a silent art auction. Wine tasting fundraiser for Food Coop

 

A Wine Tasting with Roland Arnold

The Jersey City Food Coop will team up with Our Lady of Sorrows Church (www.olsjc.org) to present an evening of wine tasting and education with Lighthorse Tavern's acclaimed sommelier, Roland Arnold on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 7pm to 10pm. Guests will enjoy an international and organic selection of wines, while learning about the grapes, countries of origin, wine makers and pairings that make each unique. A light menu will be paired with the wines by local caterer, Eric Threatt, former personal chef to LeRoi Moore.
