Stirring a geeky cocktail of two parts Ben Folds, one part Regina Spektor, and a dash of Jerry Lee Lewis, Stephie Coplan is simply not your average songwriter. With a wink and a smirk, the New York City transplant blends quirky, clever lyrics with thunderous jazz piano, earning her frequent comparisons to Fountains of Wayne, Ingrid Michaelson, Kate Nash, and Amanda Palmer.

Angela is a dynamic writer and performer.

A little more about Angela: Writer and performer of the solo shows Stretch Marks, Reminiscence of the Ghetto & Other Things that Raized Me, and, Say Logos Say Word. Awarded a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Playwriting Fellowship, a Puffin Foundation grant, a Tennesse Williams Theatre Fellowship, and a National Performance Network Creation Fund Award. Venues include UCLA-Live, The Hip Hop Theater Festival in NYC, Legion Arts in Iowa, Contact Theater in Manchester, United Kingdom and plenty of stops in between.

Who doesn't love September? Cooler weather, relaxation between the insanity of summer and the craziness of the holidays, and time for another Just Add Sound!!

Same deal as always folks! Free open mic from 9-11. All acts welcome. Everyone drops one song / poem / short comedy act / monologue / whatever. Then if we have time, we go round again! So stick around if you wanna get on the mic twice! Be on time and you're likely to go tw...ice!
