Pro Arts was founded in 1994 with a call to the artists in Jersey City and Hoboken to work together towards the promotion of the visual arts and advancement of the rights, welfare and economic well being of professional artists.

In celebration for the 20th year Anniversary, Pro Arts will be kicking off the year in Celebration with a Committee member show that will feature members who have volunteered their time to Pro Arts events in the last year. Please come and toast them. They make Pro Arts happen!

Featured artists include Vince Salvati, Beatrice Mady, Mollie Thonneson, Leona Strassberg-Steiner, Alan Walker, Caridad Kennedy, Cynthia Kwarula, Arlene Bassis, Joan Marie Palmer, Edmund Jan Kounitz, Abby Levine, Monique Sarfity, Sidney Montanez, Tatiana Lopez, Carla Cubit, Kay Kenny and AKA 999.
