Before, after and always a play with Stage Fest
Before, After and Always
can a love that has withered bloom again?
I'm in love with you. And I have loved you since before we met, even after you left and...well, always.
Which is exactly why I want you there when my original play, "Before, After and Always," premieres at STAGEfest in Jersey City! It's a comedy that's romantic (not a romcom!) and explores three relationship stages:
Good bye (Before): Two near-strangers loosely linked by four mutual friends share a magical moment as they bid each other good-bye, changing their lives forever.
Long Lost Love Song (After): A man’s dreams of his past lover leave him hot, cold and confused. Does love take work or does it just happen?
Be Longing (Always): A man and a woman can’t get over how good their relationship actually was. During a chance encounter, they must decide what to do with their love.
I will direct and star alongside Sergio Caetano. My dear Liliane Wolf will be our assistant director.
STAGEfest at the Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theatre will feature 18 theatrical and musical acts. For three days, theater will fill every nook of the historic movie palace -- the mainstage, salons, lounges, everywhere! (If you've never seen the place, see it in The Strokes' video for "Under Cover of Darkness.")
“Before, After and Always” will be in the upstairs left lobby of the Loew’s Theatre, 54 Journal Square, Jersey City, NJ on March 23 at 3 pm and 7:45 pm and March 24 at 2:45 pm.
The festival runs March 22-24. Advance all-day passes (to see ALL performers) are $10; $15 for Saturday. Advance all-weekend passes are $25, $20 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased here, where you can also find a full schedule. At-door prices are $5 higher for each ticket type. For more information, click here.
