The Great Soup Swap at Made with Love

3.30 - 6.30 pm
Get your big pots and ladles ready! The 2011 Made With Love Soup Swap is right around the corner.
The challenge: Bring four quarts of your best homemade soup, equally divided into 1 quart containers. Also bring one or more non-perishable items to donate to the St. Matthew's Food Pantry.
The Reward: Trade your delicious soup with other local culinary whiz-kids and try their homemade winter warmers.
So come on by and share your soup making secrets and taste some of the your neighbors clever concoctions, all the while helping the St. Matthew's Food Pantry.
The fun starts at 3:30 p.m. with a meet and mingle. Then at 4:00 p.m. sharp, the swap will begin!
Donations of soup or non perishable food go to the St. matthews food panrtry.

"Over the past few years the New York City Blade, GO Magazine, The Jersey Journal, The Current, and the Jersey City Pride Guide have all used Beth’s images. In 2005, her piece “Diverse Reflections”, a digitally colorized image, was the cover of The Jersey Gaze. That piece highlighted Beth’s enthusiasm for moving along with the times by incorpor...ating digital imaging into some of her pieces. But no matter how the final art is laid out, her work still begins with the basics, a camera, a roll of color film and Beth’s never ending search for those treasures that she so willingly allows us to see through her eyes."
Opening Reception for this show will be held on Thursday, August 12.
