Monday, April 29th through Saturday, May 4th, the City of Jersey City concentrates even more on sustainable living!
The City of Jersey City is committed to creating opportunities that make it easier for residents, and all those employed here, to live and work green.
Over the past years, the City of Jersey City has adopted several ordinances and resolutions that support green and sustainable practices, and the City dedicates one week each year to focusing attention on these practices and to encouraging residents, business people, workers and visitors to think and act green each and every day. “Project 365: Jersey City Green Week” features the Sustainable Cities Conference, a movie night at Liberty Science Center, a Green Arts Fair, the kick-off to Adopt-A-Park, and the spotlight on Jersey City’s incredible dining and shopping!
Jersey City restaurant and shop owners are invited to take part in the Second Annual Project 365: Jersey City Green Week as a partner and reward customers with a 10% discount on their meals and purchases. As a participating business, you will be provided with a window cling, and included in the “Project 365: Jersey City Green Week” promotional efforts.
