Halloween Is Here: Chalk The Walk

In celebration of Halloween's arrival, JCM invites everyone from children and families to artists, witches, and werewolves to come draw on the sidewalks of Jersey City Museum.  Fly in on your broomstick and join JCM for a day of spine-chilling fun for all. Free.

Entry deadline: Saturday July 17th
Exhibition for the month of August (Aug 3rd – Aug 31st)
Work will be taken down on Monday Sept 1st at noon.
Opening Reception: Tuesday August 3rd 7-10pm

This exhibit is a celebration of whimsy, laughter, childhood recollections, playfulness, joy, and just plain silliness. This subject matter is open to wide interpretation; we encourage the artists to have fun with these ideas.

There are no limitations as to size or medium, but all works must be able to be hung on the wall.

We are looking for about 3-6 works from each artist. All work must be for sale.

the Everything Jersey City Festival call for artists

Dear Hudson County Artists:

The Central Avenue S.I.D. Management Corp. welcomes you to participate in this year's Everything Jersey City Festival scheduled for Saturday May 22, 2010. This annual event attracted an estimated 15,000 people last year to the Central Avenue business district in the Heights' section of Jersey City.

As an incentive, qualifying Hudson County artists can reserve one discounted 10'x10' ft space for only $30 (must supply own 10'x10' canopy - required). For a copy of the application, please follow the link below:
