The art manifest in the public space 

happens at CREATIVE GROVE OCT 4, Grove street PATH plaza, 3 - 9 pm

with an URBAN MANIFEST:

spoken word, poetry, open mic, aerosol art,  sound installation,  

dance music, participatory art projects, Poop Talk  and a variety of artists displaying their work,

reflecting Jersey City's Urban culture with a cutting edge.

DJ Pastiche on the Last Stop Before Berlin

samples the rare German Minimal and Electronica he finds in the underground galleries and small music shops in Berlin on his regular trips to Bauhaus land..

The paintings are brief moments for our memories to be documented through the experience and photography, lost with the next layer of paint.

All ages welcome, bring a throw away T shirt to protect your clothing, and washable paint.

Down with Technic

Grassroots Community Space Presents a monthly event for DJs by Djs. Providing a space for Djs to meet, be creative on the decks, and network with one another. Open to Djs of all levels and styles from beginner and up, "Down with technic" is suited for those who want to le...arn more about Djing itself as well as allowing new DJs to learn from those who have more experience. The forum is similar to an open mic, except that it will be Djs reciting through their mixes.
