Adopt a lot kick off

Saturday, May 7th from 11am-6pm at City Hall, 280 Grove Street.  As some of you may know, the Adopt A Lot Program is the City of Jersey City’s Community Gardening Program.

Below is a quick run-down of the workshops, their times, and our guest speakers. 
PS – There will be bike demonstrations, so bring your bike!  We will also be raffling off 2 rain barrels courtesy of Rutgers Water Resources Program as door prizes!

11:00 – 11:15:     Adopt A Lot “Growing Together” Introduction - Tanya Marione-Stanton, City Planning

11:45 – 12:45:     Backyard Composting - Virginia Lamb

Children’s Garden:
Children planting from 12:00-3:00, Open to all children to come and plant a flower in the Jersey City Children’s Garden!
